$22.00

WINE: 2023 Vintage. This organic Valpolicella is a fresh, vibrant expression of Corvina and Rondinella grown in the limestone-rich soils of the Mezzane valley, offering a lively profile of crunchy red cherry, crushed flowers, and white pepper with a crisp acidity that reflects Massimago’s modern, elegant approach to the region's traditional style.

ESTATE: Massimago is a female-led, certified organic estate in the Mezzane Valley of Valpolicella, owned by the Rossi Chauvenet family since 1883 and revitalized by Camilla Rossi Chauvenet in 2003. The winery focuses on a modern, elegant interpretation of the region’s traditional Corvina-based blends, including Amarone, Ripasso, and Valpolicella Superiore. Known for its "Maximum Agium" philosophy of well-being, the estate features a distinctive Japanese-inspired fruttaio (drying room) that utilizes natural winds rather than machinery to dry grapes. Sustainability is central to their operations, utilizing solar energy and manual viticulture across 13 diverse soil parcels to maintain high acidity and mineral freshness in their wines.
